We encountered an issue where the AI returned outdated pricing info for a product because it relied on previously cached data from Shopify. The product’s base price had changed, but the AI continued referencing the older value.
The request is to introduce a toggle or mode within the Shopify product search action that forces a fresh crawl of the provided product URL, regardless of whether it was indexed previously. This would ensure the AI retrieves the most up-to-date product details like price, size variants, and availability.
This feature would be especially useful in cases where vendors frequently update their product listings and price accuracy is critical.
